Ricciardo and his Le Mans plans

Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has revealed he had options to compete in the Le Mans 24 hours race last year, but saw his interest blocked by Red Bull Racing. At the same time, Fernando Alonso saw his own possible Le Mans undertaking blocked by McLaren Honda, whereas Force India's Nico Hulkenberg did compete for Porsche and won on his first attempt. Red Bull star driver Daniel Ricciardo disclosed that he also pondered over a possible start at the historic event.
