Rivola confirms new role

Ferrari sporting director Massimo Rivola said rumours about him moving to the Ferrari Driver Academy were true, adding that he was excited by the opportunity that this new adventure would present for him. Rivola, who has been with Ferrari since 2009, said it was time for him to take a 'pit stop' after spending 18 years in the industry. He takes over at the Academy, after Luca Baldisserri vacated the position, when he followed former FDA protege Lance Stroll to Williams.
