Wolff defends decision to block Red Bull engine supply
Although some consideration was given initially by Mercedes to provide engines to its rival, in the end Wolff believed there would be no benefit to the German car manufacturer for going ahead with such a deal.
That move upset Red Bull boss Christian Horner, who openly blamed Wolff's influence for leaving his outfit in a difficult spot.
