Williams – Manufacturer deals ‘difficult' in Formula 1
Deputy team principal for Williams Martini Racing, Claire Williams feels it would be difficult to make a manufacturer partnership work even with the financial benefits it will bring. Since securing a long-term engine deal with Mercedes they have had two successive seasons, securing third in the Constructors' Championship both in 2014 and 2015, becoming the third most successful team on the grid 'I really value the independence that we have, it's really important to me,' said Claire Williams.
