Mercedes says no inappropriate Ferrari conduct

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes has clarified the situation regarding alleged gathering of information by an employee of Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, who was linked to a move to Ferrari. Mercedes is pursuing legal action against Benjamin Hoyle, who has worked at the company since 2012, claiming that he acquired confidential information from the outfit's data systems. Hoyle was tipped to move to Ferrari but this has been denied by the Italian team and Mercedes has now backed its rivals.
