2016 will be difficult for Lotus/Renault – Maldonado

Pastor Maldonado is latest to comment on the situation of Lotus-Renault for the 2016 season, and the Venezuelan racing driver admits the season is likely to be very ‘difficult' for the Lotus/Renault team. Financial problems have compromised Lotus F1's 2015 season, including missing almost a full practice session at the Hungarian Grand Prix, thanks to tyres not delivered in time, and uncertainty was faced at last weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix, where no work was allowed on Wednesday, as police guarded all sides of the garage, unit the team pay off previous debts.
