Rosberg dominates second practice at Interlagos

Nico Rosberg set the pace in second practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, leading Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton. The German driver finished opening practice in Brazil half a second behind Hamilton, but the roles were reversed in the second session. Rosberg put in a 1:12.385 to finish fastest, despite a late off-track excursion and concerns with his gearbox. Hamilton ended the 90-minute session in the runner-up spot, 0.458 seconds further back. Sebastian Vettel was one second slower than Rosberg in third, ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Daniel Ricciardo, who is running the new Renault power unit.
