Marcus Ericsson: “It is exciting going to Brazil”

Marcus Ericsson competes in his first Brazilian Grand Prix this weekend, insisting a point’s finish for both himself and team-mate Felipe Nasr would be a ‘great achievement’ for his Sauber F1 Team. The Swede missed the race in 2014 after his then Caterham team went into administration, and is eager to experience the Interlagos circuit for the first time. “It is exciting going to Brazil, as it will be my first time racing in Sao Paulo,” revealed Ericsson. “I am looking forward to it for two reasons – on a personal level, and also because it is the home Grand Prix for Banco do Brasil, one of our Principal Partners. “Of course, as a team we will do our very best with the...
