Kvyat feels Red Bull's need for speed after podium miss

Daniil Kvyat says he can leave the Mexican Grand Prix feeling satisfied with the results Red Bull achieved but feels he was denied a podium due to a lack of straight line speed from his Renault engine. The Russian driver appeared to have produced a measured performance and with both Ferrari cars crashing out he looked set for his first rostrum appearance since Budapest. However, an ill-timed safety car intervention brought Williams' Valtteri Bottas directly behind him. With his Renault engine badly down on outright speed on the long home straight he was unable to stop the Mercedes-powered Bottas from charging through at the race restart and take third place off him.
