Rosberg: Hamilton went one step too far
Nico Rosberg says his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton went 'one step too far' when they made contact at Turn 1 on the opening lap of the United States Grand Prix. The two battled for the lead into the first corner, with Hamilton getting a better start and diving up the inside. He ran wide and touched Rosberg's car, forcing him off the track. Rosberg lost several positions but was able to make them up by the mid-point of the race. However, while leading, he lost the rear of his car and went off at Turn 16, losing the lead to Hamilton.
