Alonso demoted to 11th
Fernando Alonso has been awarded with a 5 second post race penalty from the race stewards, after the Spaniard exceeded track limits on several occasions during the Russian Grand Prix. Kimi Raikkonen also fell foul of the stewards, as the Finn collected fellow countryman Bottas during the last lap of the race. Raikkonen received a 30 second penalty, which meant he dropped to P8 and Mercedes are crowned world champions.
