We never expected a whole lot from this track - Ricciardo

 XPB Images Daniel Ricciardo was left at the tail end of Q3, concluding a low-key Russian Grand Prix qualifying session for Red Bull Racing. Ricciardo comfortably made it to Q3 but only took the track midway through the last segment for a single run which actually proved slower than his best Q2 lap time. In the end, the Australian will start tomorrow's race from 10th place. "I thought Q3 would not be easy for us, so to get into Q3 was already, I won’t say over achieving, but it was nice to get into it," Ricciardo said.
