Mercedes admits pole a "big relief" after Singapore
Mercedes' technical chief Paddy Lowe says the team's Japanese Grand Prix pole position was a "big relief" after its poor weekend in Singapore. The German squad bounced back from its worst showing of the year at Marina Bay to secure a front row lock-out, with Nico Rosberg leading teammate Lewis Hamilton in today's qualifying. And Lowe admitted it was great to erase the doubts after Singapore. "It's a big relief, actually," said Lowe after qualifying.
