Alonso targeting points in Singapore after best 2015 qualifying

Fernando Alonso has set his sights on points in tomorrow's Singapore Grand Prix after recording his best qualifying result of the 2015 season. Alonso qualified 12th at Marina Bay on Saturday night for McLaren as the team's power unit deficiencies were less influential around the tight and twisting street circuit. The Spaniard has recorded just two points finishes so far in 2015, but believes that a third could be on the cards in Singapore on Sunday. 'I think this is the position we deserved today,' Alonso said.
