Maldonado ‘limited by other incidents'

Once again crashing out of a grand prix, Pastor Maldonado insists it is 'nothing to do' with his performance, it's just racing. The Lotus driver suffered back-to-back retirements in Belgium and Italy both as the result of damage to his E23. While at Spa he hit the kerbs with an impact registering 17Gs which caused his car to shut down, at Monza it was a Force India. The back-to-back DNFs could not have come at a worse time for the Venezuelan driver as his future at Lotus, who are poised to be bought by Renault, hangs in the balance. Maldonado, however, insists – once again – that he has done nothing wrong. 'It's not frustrating, this is racing,' he told Motorsport.com....
