Malaysian Grand Prix set for December 2016 race

Formula 1’s finale race in 2016 is set to be the Malaysian Grand Prix, and more importantly in December for the first time. The record breaking 21 race calendar would take place from next years, as long as no races back out due to financial tussles. The season is set to start a month later, in April at Melbourne. The Singapore organizers were keen to not have both races back to back, as in prospect the viewership may be much lower. F1’s Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed that the Malaysian Grand Prix will be moved from September to December, Autosport.com claims.
