Kimi Raikkonen: “I was able to recover quite well”

Kimi Raikkonen finished seventh at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday, with the Finn left ruing his misfortunes in qualifying, when he stopped on track during Q2, and the subsequent gearbox penalty, which meant he was always on the back foot during the race. The Scuderia Ferrari driver was also disappointed with his start, when he dropped virtually to the back of the field, but was happy with the way the race developed, and was able to climb back into the points, although his front tyres were beginning to give up on him over the closing laps in Belgium. “Obviously we cannot be very happy with where we finished, but it’s much better than from where we started,” reflected Raikkonen....
