Singapore Airlines extends GP sponsorship

Singapore Airlines has extended its title sponsorship of the Singapore Grand Prix for another two years, until 2017. The airline, which is a longstanding supporter of sports in Singapore, has been the title sponsor of the race, which was first staged in 2008, and is increasingly one of the most popular (and eventful) of the newer events, since 2014. 'As a strong supporter of both sports and tourism, we are excited to continue as title sponsor of one of the most exciting races on the F1 calendar,' said Singapore Airlines CEO, Mr Goh Choon Phong.
