Ferrari to keep Raikkonen for 2016 season

Ferrari has ended speculation about Kimi Raikkonen's future after it announced on Wednesday that it had extended the Finn's contract for another season. Having returned to the Italian team last year, the 2007 world champion has struggled to perform, recording only a single podium in the last 29 races. Fernando Alonso stepped on the rostrum thrice last year while incumbent teammate Sebastian Vettel has featured on the podium seven times in 10 races this year, which included two victories. Vettel has scored 160 points, 42 behind championship leader Lewis Hamilton, and is placed third in the standings while Raikkonen has scored a paltry 76 points and is fifth behind compatriot...
