Mahindra sign Nick Heidfeld ahead of season two

Mahindra have announced that Nick Heidfeld formerly of Venturi Racing will drive for them in season two of Formula E. Heidfeld will partner Bruno Senna for the second season of Formula E, replacing the outgoing Karun Chandhok who is turning his focus to sports car racing and opting out of Formula E. Alongside the news of Heidfeld's arrival to the Mahindra team Bruno Senna was also officially announced to be staying with the team for this season, who will be one of eight teams that are developing their own powertrain as Formula E slowly starts to step away from a spec racing series to a constructor based championship.
