Dragon Racing and Team Aguri confirm season two powertrains

Team Aguri have confirmed that they will not be running a new powertrain for the second Formula E season, opting instead to run last year's McLaren powertrain, whilst Dragon Racing choose Venturi power. For season two, teams are allowed to develop their own powertrain solutions, including the e-motor, the gearbox, the inverter and the cooling system. This has prompted several manufacturers to join the series, such as Citroen's DS brand and Renault. Eight manufacturers were chosen by the sport to develop the powertrains for season two, meaning that two of the ten teams would either have to purchase up-to-date technology or run the existing McLaren systems for another year.
