Raikkonen hopes poor results don't hurt future chances

Kimi Raikkonen says he hopes Ferrari looks beyond just pure race results when it comes to deciding his Formula 1 future. The Finn had looked set to deliver Ferrari its first 1-2 finish for five years at the Hungarian Grand Prix before an MGU-K problem slowed him and eventually forced his retirement. At a time when Ferrari is pondering whether or not to replace him, the car failure has deliver furthered frustration after a season where things have not gone right. But despite teammate Sebastian Vettel having scored more than twice as many points (160–76), Raikkonen hopes that Ferrari takes his speed and potential fully into account.
