Ricciardo confident he can “nail” Vettel in race

Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo believes he can reverse the qualifying deficit to Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel in the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday. Ricciardo was beaten into fourth place in Q3 today by just 0.096s by Vettel. Although he suffered an engine failure five laps into his long run on Friday, he believes that his first podium finish is on the cards tomorrow. “I think we’ve a chance, I really do,” said Ricciardo. “[Ferrari] were a long way off the pace yesterday, in low and high fuel, so it’s really hard to assess where they are, because obviously they showed a lot more speed today. “Our long run pace yesterday was pretty handy so I’m confident we can nail them...
