FP2: Hamilton P1 as Bulls show pace

Lewis Hamilton was once again the driver to beat in Hungary, however, Red Bull came to the fore only for an engine failure to mar their progress. As the sun baked down on the Hungaroring circuit, just 18 drivers took the track for FP2. Force India opted to sit out the session as a precautionary measure as the team continued to investigate the cause of Sergio Perez's dramatic crash and flip in the morning's session. As per usual, Mercedes quickly came to the fore with Lewis Hamilton setting the pace with a 1:25.613.
