Late payment delays Lotus' tyre delivery

Hungarian Grand Prix – A payment delay has resulted in a late delivery of tyres to the Lotus team, with their Pirelli tyres only being delivered prior to FP1. The Lotus team were held up in the first free practice session because of their late delivery of Pirelli tyres, meaning the team spent the first thirty minutes of the session preparing and warming up the tyres, delaying their running program. The issue was allegedly down to a problem with the bank transfer, but the money issue was dealt with less than one hour before the session began, so eventually received their tyre allocation. Deputy team principal Federico Gastaldi spoke to media prior to the session to say that the issue...
