Maldonado: Qualifying crucial at the Hungaroring
Pastor Maldonado has stressed how important qualifying is at the Hungaroring, ahead of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. The Venezuelan finished seventh in Canada and Austria, but retired from the last race in Britain after being hit by his team-mate Romain Grosjean on the opening lap. He is intrigued to see how Lotus fares in Hungary, as the E23 has typically gone well on tracks that feature plenty of slow corners. 'It is a very demanding circuit for drivers as it is often very hot and there are limited overtaking opportunities,' he said.
