Verstappen confused by ‘strange’ wheelspin

Max Verstappen’s race was far shorter, high-speed spinning on the exit of turn 2 and out of the race on the restart following the safety car period, finding himself stuck in the gravel at Farm corner. Also, he was the only driver to start race on the prime tyre. “After the safety car restart, I don’t know what happened in turn two. I was flat out on the throttle and suddenly I just lost the rear. I touched the guardrail softly so there was a bit of damage, but then I was in reverse but it wasn’t reversing.
