Hamilton takes lead in final practice
Having struggled a bit on Friday, Lewis Hamilton topped the times in the final practice session ahead of qualifying in Silverstone, going more than half a second quicker than his team mate. Rosberg encountered yet another gearbox issue, this time crucially on his racing gearbox. Rather than the hydraulic problems on Friday, the team discovered an oil leak on his car during the session, forcing him to sit out part of the session. Raikkonen was the closest competitor as he continues to show solid pace in comparison to his team mate this weekend. Verstappen and Sainz followed suit in 5th and 6th, confirming their promising pace from Friday. The duo headed both Williams, Kvyat and Maldonado...
