Future uncertain but Wolff pleased with efforts
Susie Wolff says she would be pleased to 'go out in a solid way' if her outing in first free practice for the British Grand Prix turns out to be her swansong in an F1 car. The Williams Martini reserve driver completed the second of her two planned FP1 outings in 2015, setting the 13th fastest time, eight tenths adrift of experienced team-mate Felipe Massa. A turnaround in fortunes compared with last year when her much anticipated outing was scuppered by early technical issues, Wolff nonetheless completed a full 19 laps and was pleased with the progress made, even if she felt she could have gone quicker. “I wanted to go out there and show what I could do,” she said. “I was highly...
