Rosberg tops FP1 despite stoppage

– Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg set the pace in Friday morning's opening practice session for the British Grand Prix, ahead of team-mate Lewis Hamilton, despite being held back by a hydraulic problem.Rosberg and Hamilton spent the early minutes trading fastest lap times, before Rosberg hit technical trouble and stopped at the side of the track.Mechanics were able to repair the car in time for a late run on fresher Hard tyres, during which Rosberg posted a 1:34.274, 0.070s up on Hamilton.Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz Jr. marked a strong start to the weekend for Toro Rosso in third and fifth respectively, split by Ferrari's Kimi Räikkönen.Sebastian Vettel finished a tenth down on...
