Track knowledge boost for Verstappen at Silverstone

In a season that will see him visit several circuits for the first time, Max Verstappen heads to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone looking to take advantage of his prior track knowledge. Fresh from a strong weekend performance at the Austrian Grand Prix, where his eighth place finish lifted him ahead of Toro Rosso team-mate Carlos Sainz in the standings, Verstappen heads to the venue where he made his car racing debut just over a year ago in European Formula 3. Indeed, despite the attention surrounding his debut then, Verstappen was a podium winner straight away, a result that ultimately paved the way for the wins that would land him an F1 drive in 2015.
