Kvyat: Damage 'massively compromised' race
Red Bull/Getty Images Daniil Kvyat says his chances of collecting a good result at the Austrian Grand Prix were compromised when he collected damage on the first lap of the race. Kvyat clipped the back of Sergio Perez at the start and pitted for repairs, though the contact left the Russian with damage to the underside of the car. "It was a very tough race today," he said. "The front wing was damaged on the first lap and from then on my race was massively compromised. "The bodywork damage affected the grip for the entire race which made the car difficult to drive. I think points were possible today if it hadn’t been for the damage, so that’s disappointing."...
