Hamilton expects ‘tough fight’ from Ferrari in Austrian GP
Lewis Hamilton felt pleased to have bounced back from a tricky start to the Austrian Grand Prix weekend by scoring his 45th career pole position at the Red Bull Ring. Defending world champion was looking to get better upon a time of 1:08.455 when, heading into the turn one; he lost control of his Mercedes and spun into the run-off area. 'It was quite a difficult qualifying with the track conditions. I was grateful I got my third lap in on the first run in Q3. I was pushing that bit extra on the next run and just locked the rears. Hamilton said following the qualifying 'I wasn't too concerned about losing pole at that time because I was trying to get the car going, but obviously afterwards...
