Hamilton on pole from Rosberg in strange qualifying end

Defending world champion Lewis Hamilton on pole position from Nico Rosberg following both Mercedes drivers Hamilton and Rosberg spin out on their final flying laps. Final practice pacesetter Sebastian Vettel managed third ahead of Felipe Massa and latest Le Mans winner Nico Hulkenberg; The second Ferrari ace Kimi Raikkonen eliminated in Q1; Jenson Button also knocked out; Both McLarens and both Red Bulls to start at the back of the grid following grid penalties.
