Alonso: Hopefully McLaren can recover lost time

Fernando Alonso is hopeful that McLaren can recover some of the time lost in Austrian Grand Prix Friday practice on Saturday morning, ahead of qualifying and the race. The Spaniard managed just 10 laps in the morning before an electrical connection issue and gearbox software problems cut short his running. In the afternoon session, he only managed 17 laps before his day came to an early end. Alonso ran with several new upgrades – including a shorter nose design – in second practice.
