Bottas boosts Williams with podium return
Valtteri Bottas handed Williams its first podium of the 2015 Formula 1 season with a typically unruffled drive to third place in the Canadian Grand Prix. Making the most of Sebastian Vettel's lowly starting position, Bottas went into the race looking to challenge Kimi Raikkonen for the final spot on the podium behind the Mercedes', but would find himself adrift of his countryman during the first stint. In the end, fortune would favour Bottas when Raikkonen suffered a spin after his first pit-stop, handing track position to him, which he would protect all the way to the chequered flag.
