Bottas: Williams really needed Canada podium
Valtteri Bottas says Williams 'really needed' the podium he scored at the Canadian Grand Prix, after finishing the race in third place. The Finnish driver lined up for the seventh round of the season in fourth place on the grid and kept up with Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari in the first stint. Raikkonen spun at the hairpin just after his first stop, with Bottas emerging from his one and only trip to the pit lane ahead of his countryman, moving onto the podium. He went on to finish five seconds ahead of Raikkonen and scored the Williams outfit's maiden top three result of the year. 'I think we really needed this result,' he said afterwards on the podium.
