Vettel vows to bounce back on Sunday

Sebastian Vettel put a brave face on his disastrous qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, which he will start 15th after losing power in Q1. Vettel – who was expecting to challenge the Mercedes duo with his new engine upgrades – was unable to reach anything like his usual top speed due to a failure in the MGU-H energy-recovery system. Despite going out for two last-gasp laps in Q1, he just couldn't find the time he needed to avoid being knocked out at the first hurdle – and his frustration was evident in an expletive-laden radio message on his in-lap.
