Manor signs Bell as technical consultant

Manor's hopes of making progress in Formula 1 this year have been boosted, with the team securing assistance from former Mercedes technical director Bob Bell. As part of a ramp-up of engineering staff, Manor announced on Monday that Bell will be acting as a technical consultant to help guide the team's long term plans. Bell, who was previously a technical director and team principal at Renault, left Mercedes at the end of last year and has most recently being doing consultancy work for Renault as it considers its F1 future.
