Alonso contact cost me points - Hulkenberg
Sahara Force India Force India driver Nico Hulkenberg says that early contact with McLaren's Fernando Alonso cost him a chance at finishing in the points at the Monaco Grand Prix. Alonso tapped Hulkenberg on the approach to Mirabeau, sending the German driver into the barriers, after which he drove over his own front wing and cost further time. Alonso was judged the guilty party and handed a five second time penalty while Hulkenberg recovered to finish just outside of the points in 11th position.
