Verstappen given five-place grid penalty

– Max Verstappen has been given a five-place grid penalty for the Canadian Grand Prix following his clash with Romain Grosjean in Monaco.Toro Rosso rookie Verstappen hit the rear of Grosjean's Lotus and slammed into the wall at Sainte Devote in the closing stages of the race.Having investigated the incident, the stewards deemed that Verstappen was at fault, handing him a grid drop and two penalty points.Speaking to gathered media after the race, Verstappen claimed that Grosjean braked earlier than usual on the lap they collided."The lap before I braked on the same spot as when I crashed," said Verstappen."But you could see that when I braked, the car ahead braked...
