Raikkonen hopeful of better tyre warm-up

Scuderia Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen is hopeful that tyre warm-up will improve across the remainder of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, after admitting that it was a minor issue for him during Thursday's practice sessions. Raikkonen was eighth quickest in the opening practice session and claimed fourth in a second session which was interrupted by the arrival of heavy rain. "The feeling with the car today was pretty okay, obviously there are some small issues but they are more related to the tyres: it’s difficult to make them warm up, especially the front tyres, but overall it’s not too bad," he said.
