Audi chief rules out Formula 1 entry

– Audi Chief Executive Rupert Stadler has all but ruled out joining the Formula 1 grid, despite rumours that the German car manufacturer could replace Renault as Red Bull's power unit supplier.The speculation has grown amid Red Bull and Renault's particularly challenging start to the 2015 campaign, which dramatically led to both parties issuing threats to quit the sport.This was heightened by the resignation of Volkswagen Group Chairman Ferdinand Piech, long seen as the reason the company's various brands have stayed away from Formula 1.While Stadler suggested as recently as last week that Formula 1 "is still an option" for Audi, he moved to end the saga during a press...
