HAVE YOUR SAY: F1’s proposed rule changes
After much discussion and debate off the track, the powers that be in F1 finally reached an accord of sorts in terms of the sport's direction during the latest Strategy Group meeting with a raft of proposals being put forward. Ultimately, the motivation for change was geared towards improving the spectacle for audiences in an effort to reverse a downward trend in certain markets, as well as delegate more responsibility to teams to when it comes to devising race strategies. Though these proposals still require them to be passed through F1 Commission before they are rubber stamped, this will considered positive first step towards change.
