F1 Strategy Group announce proposed changes for 2016 and 2017

The Formula One Strategy Group, FOM, the FIA and also representatives of the current engine manufacturers in the sport have met in Biggin Hill to debate and discuss improving the 'show' aspect that the sport provides to its global television audience and its fans going into the 2016 and 2017 season. The meeting between the FIA, FOM and the Teams yesterday was intended to secure the future of the championship. All parties agreed to work together with an intention to firm up these proposals and submit them to the approval of the F1 Commission and the World Motor Sport Council of the FIA as soon as possible for implementation into the Sporting Regulations.
