Rosberg takes first pole of 2015 in Spain

Nico Rosberg took his first pole position of the year at the Spanish Grand Prix, ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.  Rosberg was on top form around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and beat teammate Hamilton by 0.267 seconds. Roberto Merhi was the first driver to venture out in during Q1. The Spaniard set the first timed lap of the session, a 1:32.038 in front of his home crowd. Rosberg fluffed his first attempt at a flying lap after running wide through the final chicane, but his second attempt was much better and saw him go fastest, beating Carlos Sainz’s lap time by over 0.8 seconds.
