Rosberg reprimanded for missing the white line at pit entry

Nico Rosberg has received his first reprimand of the season for crossing the white line at the pit entry. When the Mercedes driver pitted just over an hour into the 90-minute session, he entered the pits too late and was forced to cross the white line and miss the bollard. A statement from the stewards read: “The driver crossed the line separating the pit entry from the track and did not stay to the right of the bollard, as required in the Race Director’s Event Notes.” Rosberg ended the session fastest, 0.070 seconds ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton.
