Alonso hopeful of McLaren performance step in Barcelona

Speaking at this afternoon's Driver's Press Conference, McLaren's Fernando Alonso says he thinks the four race chapter of horror for McLaren is coming to an end. McLaren have yet to score a point after four races this season, showing a lack of pace as well as a lack of reliability. Last time out in Bahrain, Jenson Button's car broke down almost every time it peeled out onto the circuit, resulting in him being unable to start the race due to the team being unable to rectify the problem. With the European season starting this weekend after a three week gap, McLaren have launched a new livery and with it, seem to be instilling a sense of a ‘new start' after their extended testing...
