Ericsson points bid scuppered by pit-stop problem

Marcus Ericsson admitted before the Bahrain Grand Prix that it would be tough to add to his 2015 F1 points tally, but any hopes the Swede may have harboured disappeared during his second pit-stop. The Sauber driver started from 13th but, after a fruitful opening lap, was quickly challenging for a place in top ten, maintaining his presence through to lap 25.
