No action taken on Vettel/Perez incident

The Bahrain Grand Prix stewards have decided not to take action following the incident between Sebastian Vettel and Sergio Perez in second practice. Vettel lost part of his front wing after Force India driver Perez hit it near the end of the session at Turn 1. The Ferrari driver was joining the track from the pitlane and said he had a problem with the braking of his car. Although the incident was under investigation, the stewards decided no penalty was necessary. "As no driver was determined to be wholly or predominantly to blame, the stewards decide that no further action should be taken," the stewards said. Vettel apologised to Perez afterwards.
